A Quiet Christmas Eve

Spread the love

Today has been a really nice, quiet day. I helped my mum with a lot of cooking and preparation for the roast dinner tomorrow (technically it’s a roast lunch). It’s always nice having a quiet Christmas Eve because Christmas Day is always so busy an full on!

I’m so excited for Christmas this year.

It’s my niece’s first Christmas, and oh my gosh, she has grown so much this year. She’s starting to drag herself around (not quite crawling yet).

My mum and I prepared salads for tomorrow.

We made a German potato salad and a broccoli and grape salad. I can’t wait to eat all of the food. I am going to have just a little bit of everything.

My outfit today is one I didn’t actually wear.

I tried it on because I wanted to check it still fit. This dress is super pretty. It’s a mod dress Paper Dress Vintage in East London.

The shop is beautiful, and if I remember correctly there was a cafe/bar type thing upstairs. The clothing is beautiful and is perfectly picked for the shop. I love going into vintage shops that are really well presented!

I hope everyone has a lovely Christmas Eve! There is only one more sleep until Christmas! Woo!

What do you usually do on Christmas Eve?

I hope your niece has a good first Christmas. And please show us a photo of that broccoli and grape salad?! I hope you have a lovely Christmas. I’ve just woken up here (in London) and it’s only the start of Christmas eve!!! Which means it’s Colombian Christmas!!!

She has had a fabulous day. She’s very tired now though. She got so many cute presents. It makes me want to have a baby now 😀 I definitely will post a photo of it. It is a surprisingly good mix – I never thought broccoli and grape would go well together. I hope you have an amazing Christmas Day xx
