Beautiful Florence

Spread the love

Earlier this year, when I was in Italy, I was lucky enough to go to beautiful Florence. I loved Florence because it was a beautiful, small city. Florence is perfect for a weekend break.

I went on a walking tour of the city, and we went to a beautiful leather shop where I bought a puzzle ring and spent a lot of time looking at the bags and purses. Some people bought leather jackets there, which were gorgeous.

Here are a few photos from my travels in beautiful Florence:

A couple of my friends and I walked up to Piazzale Michelangelo. We enjoyed gelato and spent some time admiring the view.

I spent pretty much the whole day walking and sightseeing. That evening, mostly everyone else went out for a dinner, but I decided to go out with a couple of other people. We had a great dinner at a steakhouse, and then met everyone at karaoke. It was a bit of a disappointment, because everyone there was under 15.

The next night we went to a nightclub, which apparently Jersey Shore went to. Again, that was a disappointment because there were only teenagers there. I ended up leaving early with a few friends.

Florence is on my list of places to go back to. I’d like to go back to a few places in Italy, as most of the destinations were kind of rushed. My preference would be to go back by myself, or with a friend or two and really see each city.

Have any of you been to Florence? Did you enjoy it?
