Blogmas: 12 Days of Outfits – Day 7
Five more days left of the 12 Days of Outfits series. I am so glad! I love this time of year, but I’ve been doing so much Christmas preparation, a lot of job applications and also trying to blog. I’m just so glad that work has finished for the holiday so that I can focus on these things.
Today my outfit is very vintage. I love all things vintage, and I think that buying from eBay, charity shops and second hand is so important. The reason for this is because it is a great way to recycle and reuse. I also feel so much more confident in vintage clothes. Isn’t it funny how clothing can make you feel confident?
These shorts are one of my favourite pairs. They are from the 1950s (true vintage!) and were unworn when I bought them off eBay. I love the colour, the cut and they fit so perfectly. They are high waist, which I really like.
The tie top is also vintage, from Smoove Vintage in Auckland. Seriously, if you haven’t been there, you should. It is quite pricey, but there are so many great items of clothing there. They have the most amazing dresses, of which I own quite a few.
This blouse has a really cute pattern on it – seashells! It is also perfectly light and airy for this time of year. It’s been really hot and humid, so having light clothes is vital!
Since this top finishes just before my tummy button, it is vital that these shorts meet, or nearly meet, the bottom of the top. I don’t really like having a strip of skin between the bottom of my top and the start of my shorts. It just makes me feel uncomfortable!
I hope you like these photos. Totally not posed at all. I enjoy doing these silly poses, as they just seem so much more relaxed than the ones when I am trying too hard.
Here’s a Christmas song for you:
What’s your favourite Christmas song?
