My Favourite Christmas Books – Blogmas
I love to read, so I thought ‘why not make a post about three of my favourite Christmas books’. One of my favourite genres is chick lit. They are light, fluffy and a good, easy read.
My Favourite Christmas Books
1) Married By Christmas by Scarlett Bailey
I loved this book. It was the perfect amount of sad and happy. I didn’t think that I would like it at first, but the more I read, the more I enjoyed it. The reason why I didn’t like it was that the main character and her fiance didn’t seem well suited. However, it was all sorted out at the end!
2) I Heart Christmas by Lindsey Kelk
This is a really good book. Lindsey Kelk is a great author, and this book did not disappoint! It is the perfect chick-lit – it is funny, dramatic and there are a few disasters. This was a great book to start off my holiday reading. You can find Angela (the main character) in Lindsey’s other I Heart books.
3) Candlelight at Christmas by Katie Fforde
I love Katie Fforde books. She writes excellent chick-lit books, that make me laugh out loud and also make me sad. I think books that make you feel a range of emotions are the best sorts of books! This one is a short story featuring Rupert, Fenella, Gideon and Zeo, who we met in Recipe for Love. This book’s main character, however, was Meggie, and her love interest was Etienne. It was a great short story, and I really enjoyed reading it!
I know this isn’t the biggest list of Christmas books, but I decided to make this post short and sweet. These books were great to read, and were true chick lit books.
