How I Begin Each Day

Spread the love

Some people are morning people. I am definitely not one of those people. I have a strict morning routine which I can accomplish in less than one hour.

Every morning my alarm goes off and I think “oh fudge, is it that time already?”

Finally, I drag myself out of bed (to be honest, sometimes I roll and thump down onto the floor).

I can relate to this.

I cannot relate to this.

If I’ve been super organised the night before, I already have my outfit of the day picked out and sitting on my chairdrobe (don’t judge, at least it’s not a floordrobe!).

If not I spend at least ten minutes in front of my mass of clothes (in the wardrobe) complaining that I have nothing to wear and I have no clothes.

How I begin each day

I deposit my clothes safely in the bathroom and then run down to the kitchen to get my brekkie. It’s always the same: cornflakes and tea. I don’t deviate from my morning routine.

Finally, after getting distracted by instagram and twitter, I race to the shower. Makeup does not play much of a part in my morning routine. The most I ever put on is concealer.

By the time I get to work I’m hungry again.

I have two more sleep-ins until I have to go back to work. Really struggling with the thought of having to wake up early again.

I’m not the greatest morning person either, although I am fairly good at getting myself up quickly. I’m a massive Breakfast At Tiffany’s fan so your image choices for this post made me really happy x

Breakfast at Tiffany’s is my most favourite movie in the whole entire world. Audrey Hepburn is the best!

Lol your feature image and title lured me to this! It was so cute with all the gifs and such…I pretty use to always take cereal and tea for bf but now I’m always in a rush and buy something near to work. Great post!

Haha, I knew I wanted to use a Breakfast at Tiffany’s picture for the feature image, as it works so perfectly with this topic! 🙂
I’m so excited to be moving closer to work soon. More beauty sleep!

I’m not a morning person either – I think I hit the snooze button at least 5 times before I have realise I absolutely HAVE to get out of bed.
