Wow, has June flown past us or what? I can’t believe it’s my June catchup post time already. Has June even happened? I skipped last months catchup post, simply because I got really busy!
June Catchup and Blogging Progress:
I wrote previously that I wasn’t going to focus on numbers each month, as I blog for fun and I found that focussing on numbers was just getting me annoyed!
This month I have read:
Dating for Expats (a review will be out for this in August).
A Perth travel guide and heaps of blog posts about Dubai.
I have also read ‘I Owe You One’ by Sophie Kinsella (my favourite author), and during May I read ‘Eleanor Oliphant is Completely Fine’ by Gail Honeyman. Eleanor Oliphant is an incredible book, funny and sad rolled into one! I highly suggest giving it a read.
This month I have watched:
I rewatched Ferris Bueller’s Day Off while I was sick, and it never fails to make me laugh. If you haven’t seen it, you should! It’s hilarious and such a classic 80s movie!
I also found a new favourite new movie called ‘In Family I Trust’. It’s a Spanish language movie and is really good. It’s on Netflix!
This month I have listened to:
My Spotify playlist hasn’t changed much in a few months, but I’m loving Glee covers of Broadway hits, and Hello (Lionel Richie). Pink is always on my playlist – Get This Party Started is my ultimate favourite. Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift is an old favourite and so is Dirrty by Christina Aguilera.
This month I have bought:
Some clothes from Everlane, a sustainable fashion brand. I bought some trousers and an air ruched blouse from them. This is all in preparation for my travels to Azerbaijan in August.
July Blog Goals:
I am looking at continuing to blog consistently. I’ve had a bit of a busy month, so I feel like my blog posts have been few and far between! For my socials, I am hoping to continue to build my engagement! Pinterest is a platform I would like to continue to work on.
