Merry Christmas! And the Perfect Summer Dress
I hope everyone has had a very Merry Christmas. It’s been such a wonderful time of year, and I’ve really cherished all of the family moments.
Before I start talking about the perfect summer dress, I just want to write a little bit about my Christmas Day!
My favourite thing about Christmas is spending time with family, the food and the music. There’s just something so beautiful about the music.
We had our family Christmas at my mum and dad’s place this time. My Oma and Opa had been running Christmas for our combined families (step-family included) for over 30 years! It’s good to start creating our own traditions!
My mum and I were so busy getting everything cooked and ready for Christmas Day. We tried to prepare food in the week leading up to Christmas, which was such a time saver.
Unfortunately, the weather didn’t hold up! It was beautifully sunny in the morning and then it just started pouring down at lunchtime.
Despite that, we had a fabulous day.
Now, my final 12 Days of Outfits post:
This dress really is the perfect summer dress. It is really light and floaty, which is perfect for the humidity here!
I love it because it is a beautiful colour and pattern. It isn’t usually a colour I’d wear, but I’ve really enjoyed wearing pink and lighter colours this year. It is a really nice change from the darker colours I usually wear!
I am loving these longer dresses lately. They are really comfy. This one has an elasticated waistband, which made it easy to eat too much! Also, check out the slit on the dress. I tried to do an Angelina Jolie type pose. She makes it look easier than it is.
This style of dress is really classic, and I know I’m going to wear it a lot! It’s the perfect summer dress. I know that each year I’m going to be so excited to start wearing it. I think it looks really great with these high heel sandals from Lotta from Stockholm.
Dress: Sass (bought it from Shine On).
Shoes: Lotta from Stockholm.
I’m going to post some food photos later! There’s a high possibility that I’ll fall into a food coma soon!
Have a very Merry Christmas! All the best for Christmas Day!
Have a read of another blogmas post!
