My New Years Resolutions 2018

Spread the love

Wow, I am still so shocked that 2017 has been and gone. This year has been so busy and full on, that it feels weird that it is over. I decided to write a New Years Resolutions 2018 post, and I’m going to try to keep track of these and accomplish them. Normally I’m not the sort of person who makes resolutions because I make goals as I go. However, this year I have decided to change things up for once. Change is good.

My New Years Resolutions 2018

1) I would love to meet a significant other. I know I probably sound desperate, as a few of my posts have been about dating or trying to find someone. But seriously, I would love to meet a man who I can go out with and travel with.

2) Be healthy. I am going to try to be healthier this year – both in diet and exercise. I’d love to go to the gym and tone up. I also want to stop snacking on junk food.

3) Save. I’m planning on a few holidays next year, and need to save very hard for them. I’m moving into my own place next year, as it will be close to work and I won’t have to deal with the commute. It will be more expensive living in my own house because of mortgage payments, but I’m looking forward to getting my bit of independence back.

4) Go to more blogging events. I really enjoyed going to brunchclub in November, because it is a great way to make friends!

5) Blog more. I have enjoyed writing this year. I’d like to grow my following!

6) Be more social. I really need to make an effort to go out and catch up with friends. I’ve been so busy with work this year and I’ve been so tired too, but I think that I really need to have time for me.

So, there are 6 New Years Resolutions. I will be reviewing them again next year. I might even do monthly goal posts!

3 and 6 are also goals of mine, I’m wanting to move so it’s time to get serious about finances. As for 6, I’m the worst for saying I’ll catch up then go three months without spending time with people, I need to make more of an effort x

The new year, we have our own goals. As long as a target, life becomes full of meaning, everything seems to be clear and clear in front of you.
